Game basics
Five things Classic expects you to know and never explains: what the frame around a mob's portrait is telling you, what a creature's type decides, how resistance works, what one point of a stat is actually worth, and which weapons your class is allowed to pick up.
Every number on this page is read from the 1.12 world database and the Classic Era client, not from a guide or a wiki. Which is the point: every one of these is answered somewhere by somebody's memory, and each answer here is a number the server uses. How this site reads the game data.
