In World of Warcraft Classic, Elemental Water is a valuable elemental crafting material used by players developing professions and creating useful consumables. The item has an item level of 25 and can be stacked in quantities of up to 10.

Elemental Water is primarily obtained by defeating water elemental enemies found in several zones across Azeroth. It can also be acquired through fishing in certain locations, giving players multiple ways to collect the material.

Elemental Water can drop from several types of water elementals. The most efficient farming location depends on your character level, the number of available enemies, their respawn speed, and competition from other players.

Stranglethorn Vale is one of the most frequently recommended locations for farming Elemental Water. Lesser Water Elementals can be found on the island near the northern coast of the zone.

This location is popular because the island contains a large number of enemies and allows players to follow a continuous farming route. By the time one side of the island has been cleared, the first enemies may already have started respawning.

Although individual drop rates can vary, the high number of available enemies often makes Stranglethorn Vale more efficient than locations with fewer elemental spawns.

Cresting Exiles in Arathi Highlands are another possible source of Elemental Water. These enemies are commonly farmed by players looking for elemental crafting materials.

The main disadvantage of this location is the limited number of enemies. Players who defeat them quickly may need to wait for respawns, especially when other players are farming in the same area.

Arathi Highlands can still be a useful alternative when Stranglethorn Vale is crowded or inconvenient to reach.

Toxic Horrors in Felwood may also drop Elemental Water. This farming spot can be convenient for higher-level characters already completing quests or gathering other materials in the zone.

Drop rates may be inconsistent, so Felwood is generally considered an alternative farming location rather than the primary choice.

Scalding Elementals in Thousand Needles are another potential source of Elemental Water. This area may be suitable for players who are already levelling or questing nearby.

As with other farming locations, the actual number of drops can vary significantly between farming sessions.

Elemental Water can also be obtained through fishing. Patches of Elemental Water may appear in the Bay of Storms in Azshara.

Fishing these pools may provide Elemental Water alongside other materials such as Essence of Water and Globe of Water. This method can be especially useful for players levelling Fishing or gathering several types of water-related reagents at the same time.

Elemental Water can often be purchased from the Auction House when other players list it for sale. Buying it directly is the fastest option for players who need the material immediately and do not want to spend time farming elemental enemies.

Prices vary between realms and may change depending on supply, profession demand, and the current phase of the game. Compare individual item prices with full-stack listings before making a purchase.

Elemental Water is mainly used as a profession reagent. Demand is often driven by players crafting potions, equipment, and other profession-related items.

Alchemists use Elemental Water in recipes such as Greater Frost Protection Potion. These consumables can be useful in encounters involving frost damage, creating regular demand for the material.

Players planning to craft multiple potions may need several units of Elemental Water, making efficient farming or purchasing important.

Elemental Water is also required for certain Tailoring recipes. Tailors levelling their profession or crafting specific equipment may therefore purchase the material from the Auction House instead of farming it themselves.

Elemental Water can be sold through the Auction House individually or in stacks. Players who farm large quantities may be able to earn gold by selling the material when demand is high.

However, profitability depends on the economy of each realm. Before starting a long farming session, check current Auction House prices and compare the potential income with other available farming methods.
